My name is Claudio,
Soy Migrante, Zapoetca, Yaqui and O’odham from Sonora Mexico.
I create art that reflects my experience growing up, creations and ideas that reflect my story and identities. Images that have become great meanings for me at the intersection of my culture and the world I live in as they collide with my hopes and dreams.
I am an environmental justice organizer in Tucson, Arizona. I do my best to educate the homies on food production, the need to stay organized and prepared - but most importantly managing soil fertility through story telling. Changing the composition of the soil will inevitably change the composition of the hood. Remediating the ground we inhabit will change our health, our perspective and create solutions as we strive to defend what we love.
